Incorporating Manipulatives in Math Education

Participants learned why and how to use math manipulatives with inquiry activities in the grade 1-5 classroom. Content addressed number sense, geometry, algebra, measurement, and statistics/probability. Teachers created their own models and visited a virtual manipulative web site for use with students. read more
