Description: Many teachers enter the classroom with no formal training in assessing the achievement of their students, and consequently they rely on “traditions” that often have little relationship to actual student learning. The traditional point system so often used for scoring lead to inaccurate conclusions about a student’s achievement. This module will provide the teacher with tools that will inform their instruction, assist students in tracking their learning, and will provide an accurate portrayal of the student’s progress.
